What is the nature of reality?

... and as the spider emits out of itself the threads of its web;
and as the female crane conceives without a male;
and as the lotus wonders from one pond to another without any means of conveyance;
so the intelligent Brahman also may be assumed to create the world by itself without extraneous means ...

Energy is neither created nor destroyed, it is simply transferred from one place to another. Albert Einstein

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts ...

Our theories of the eternal are as valuable as are those which a chick that has not yet broken its way through its shell might form of the outside world. Buddha

What do I believe in?

In my philosophy and worldview I believe that everything comes from Maya, that everything is Maya, and that everyone should have the right to have his or her own Maya because life without a Maya would not be worth going through. And I also believe that after this Maya is over we return back to Maya - to the Matrix that is the Primal Creative Energy of the Universe.

End of the Iron Age

There are four mythical stages of human existence on the Earth. And we are living at the end of the fourth Age called the Iron Age, also called Kali Yuga in Hinduism. And many believe that the fortnight or the dawn of the Golden Age has begun at the turn of the 20th Century when major changes begun to take place. So it should have been a time to be happy and to rejoice! Yet, what we've seen were two World Wars, great technological progress and many social changes. That's because of a cleansing process, in which bad Karma has to come up to the surface and burn itself out to make way for better things. Each one of us is that great creative force behind those changes. So, everything depends on the choices we make today and every day. Therefore don't look at me, some Guru, cleric or your neighbors for examples to follow. Do what you think is right for You. Because your life is all about you and it is to be lived out to its fullest potential by you.

Happiness often comes when there still is a piece of a rainbow waiting on the horizon to be had. So, be happy if that man or woman next to you in bed is not exactly what you are looking for, or if all your dreams haven't come true yet. There still is so much more left for you to hope for, to fantasize about and to look forward to. You still have hope! But if you feel that you've already achieved everything you ever dreamt of then there is little hope and motivation for a better world to be had by you because you are already living in a better world. Why is that so? That's because changes begin gradually and not everyone is as fortunate as others may be at the same time. It's been said that the meek shell inherit the Earth in the Golden Age and that it will be an Age of return to innocence. And innocence is a form of ignorance. So that's why we will find more joy, happiness and fulfillment in the Golden Age by becoming more humane and not as overly restrictive as we are today.

Is The Supreme Entity Infallible?

It is obvious that the world is not perfect; especially when we see so much ignorance, injustice, suffering, evil and long lines of patients waiting for a visit to a healer. Everything in the Universe goes through different stages of growth, development and evolution. Along those lines of evolution experiments were held that failed, such as for example those with the many different species on our planet. That's because the Supreme Entity is going through different stages of growth, development and evolution of consciousness. Had it been infallible and perfect it would not need to grow, develop and evolve. It would make everything perfect from the start, in the very beginning. Therefore the answer to the question if The Supreme Entity is Infallible would be "No". The Supreme Entity is not Infallible but its goal may be to become infallible and perfect. And when that goal is achieved an end of the manifested Universe will follow. That's because when infallibility, perfection and all goals are achieved then all things remain in perfect harmony and balance. And when such a state of existance is achieved then there is no activity in the Universe. Hence, no energy is being produced; therefore a state of inertia, of none existence, of a void and emptiness is achieved. That is a time when it could be said that the Supreme Entity sleeps for a while. So with all the imperfections that we find in the world today and all the things that the Supreme Entity is trying to repair, the annihilation of the Universe is still a very, very long time away. So don't worry, be happy.

Language

Language has its limitations and people often use words recklessly not thinking of what they mean or how someone else may interpret them. I am not the most eloquent person and not an exception to the rule. So, I try to express myself as clearly as possible and hope that the Reader will forgive me for mistakes I may make along the way. Words may bring about different though connotations in different people depending on their past experiences. That is because written and spoken words, sentences, paragraphs etc. that form our language are like hieroglyphs that form verious images in the mind and its imagination. And each person has a different imagination. So the images can often be different too. Therefore, please be understanding and open-minded if what you find here may not always meet your high standards or suite your taste. Thanks.

Three Worldviews

Basically speaking, there are three worldviews through which different people perceive reality. They are monism/nondualism, nondualism of the qualified whole and dualism. Depending on a person's Karma, different folks will have a natural inclination to identify with one of those three. Dualism is the most common worldview that is followed by the vast majority. Nondualism of the qualified whole is a worldview that is between dualism and monism and followed by a small group of folks usually initiated into hermetics/esotericism. And Nondualism is followed by a very few that are often misunderstood by the other two groups, it is also the worldview I share.

Anyone interested in Indo-European and Hindu Nondualism should learn more about
Adi Shankara and his philosophy called Advaita Vedanta.

Is God like a Father or a Mother?

God is like a Mother and a Father at the same time. But more precisely, God is neither male, female or both. We give God a gender, a name, a form etc. because we are limited by our gender, name, form etc. Our language and other forms of expression are also limited for those same reasons. God is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent. Everything in the Universe is a manifestation of God in God. To a certain degree, those same powers are present in everything in the Universe because God is in all and God is The All.

The Earth

The Earth is a part of the Great Universe. The Universe is our Mother and Father. The consciousness in us is also the Universal Consciousness. We could say that the Universe and the Earth are where we came from, what supports us and what we are destined to return back to. They are the home that we never really left behind, and yet the one that we are destined to return back to.

The Universe is a manifestation of the Primal Energy called "Maya" in Vedanta or called "Shakti" in Tantra and Shaiva schools of Hinduism. In these worldviews, matter is a condensed form of primal energy that is a bit like the one expressed in Einstein's E=mc2 formula. In other words, energy is matter, and matter is energy i.e. all is energy. That which is called "nothing", "the void", "zero", "emptiness" etc. is also a form of energy.

Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy. Albert Einstein

Is There A Need For Spiritual Services?

I believe religions or Spiritual Services as we know them today are in need of some major reforms or replacement. It is plain to see today how many conflicts have arisen from incompatibilities between religions and modern science and technology. The problem with many religions is that they are too old for modern times. So, some of them and their followers have stayed behind and become somewhat backwards thinking. Evolution is a fact and evolution of consciousness is also a fact that few educated persons will deny. And it has always been a part of the Indo-European system of belief.

The most important services religions have traditionally offered are initiation, marriage and funeral services. Those make lives more valuable and are a continuation of old traditions. I am sure those traditions will be continued for a long time because they are an important part of the human experience. Also, membership in religious groups and institutions gives members a feeling of security, comfort and also a place to turn to for support. I also believe that they should give their members something positive to fantasize about. People will always need fantasies to stimulate their imagination. And traditionally, religions have always been the places to turn to for those. Old fantasies that were taken from old works on which our forefathers were raised need to be reformed or replaced with better ones that would pave the way to a new world. Many old works limited themselves to histories about their local tribes, culture and beliefs. Today, we need to set more global and intergalactic goals to dream about so humankind could progress forwards and create a better world based on ideas of peace, love and happiness for the benefit of future generations and survival of the humankind. And what if not on fantasies, dreams, imagination, illusions or i.e. from Maya was the world built on? So, lets put past tales, grievances and outdated histories and dreams aside. And lets use that divine creative force that we've built this world on so far for the betterment of the future world and not for the destruction of it.

So, I am not for organized religions as we know them. I believe that clerics should be paid for services just like businessman. That's the theory. In practice, those who claim otherwise make millions and those that speak the truth often end up broke. To get somewhere in this world built on ignorance, one is forced to say one thing and do another thing. And people will pay a lot to be kept in ignorance, but will not pay much for enlightenment. Because they would have to open their eyes and see things as they are. And what fun would that be? But the truth is also a form of ignorance. And getting to that side of reality is a difficult task that should be trotted with a competent guide.

What About Ethics or Rules Of Conduct?

The Suncross school of thought is a way of becoming a better person, perceiving truth and attaining all-round well-being and success.

Rules of conduct or ethics are just as important for well-being and a well functioning society as rules of the road. There would be many more collision on roads if drivers didn't follow them. The two most important rules of conduct we should learn are non-violence (sensible pacifism) and truthfulness (honesty, openness). Other rules of conduct and ethics are usually based on those two.

Below are five rules of conduct that are based on the above mentioned that have proven to be most universal among many Indo-Europeans and also most useful on the way to realisation for thousands of years.

1. Non-violence - sensible pacifism.
2. Truthfulness - openness.
3. Non-stealing - honesty.
4. Seeing God in all - God is all things and beings.
5. Modesty - living fairly and according to one's means.

Good deed, good heart,
let them never be apart.

Many Kinds Of Karma

There are many kinds of Karma. For example, there are individual Karma and collective Karma such as group Karma, national Karma and many others. An example of collective Karma would be where the Karma of one or more person(s) influence the Karma of another person(s). No matter how good or bad one's Individual Karma may be, his or her Karma will be strengthened or weakened by the other person's or group's good or bad Karma in a given Karmic situation. Therefore as difficult as it may be at times, it is wise to keep good company and cultivate a good Karma.

What Is The Divine Undercurrent In Celestial Life?

My beliefs are quite simple. They form a prism through which I perceives the divine undercurrent in celestial life, the Universe and through which I express himself. I was born a Roman Catholic and later, as I started looking for my Indo-European roots I became a follower of Hinduism esp. Adi Shankara (788 A.D.), the founder of the Advaita Vedanta worldview (Monism). After that, I put the puzzle of the Arian pre-Vedic wisdom together in a simple and comprehensive way and started my own school of though or religion.

Shankara was at the height of his spiritual career at the age of about 14. He is taken to be the greatest reformer of Hinduism and the foremost Hindu philosopher. Yet, he did not establish any religion. Perhaps that is why many Hindus chose his desciples as the heads of Hinduism, which is comprised of many small religious groups that follow the
Veda - ancient Arian scriptures. The basic concept of Shankara's teaching is a simple one, one that was lost threw the thousands of years. What his teachings boil down to, in my own words are the following:

1. The manifested Universe is a product of Maya*
(The Goddess).
2. The manifested Universe is supported by Maya.
3. The manifested Universe dissolves in Maya.
4. Everything is Maya, The Cosmic Consciousness called
Brahman in the Vedas.
5. Maya is the reason why we experience duality; why we think we are different from Brahman.

God, the Void, philosophy, religion etc. are manifestations of Maya, The Cosmic Mind or Energy. Different people may have different concepts of Maya, the Absolute. For example, if scientists discover the workings of the Universe they only discover some of the illusionary mechanics of Maya. Their discovery may be true so long as someone else doesn't come along and prove it wrong or discover some other better theory that abolishes or improves on the earlier one. Therefore, whatever we may say about the Absolute will be of speculative nature. The Universe is constantly developing and undergoing endless changes. That which was yesterday is not the same tomorrow. Therefore, things are not static, are not true. The Universe or the manifestation of the Supreme Entity behaves like a living and thinking being. So, we often tend to give it a context, an image and a personality.

My understanding of spirituality is liberal and beyond the formal and dogmatic bonds of religion. So my advice is to stop looking for God somewhere up in the clouds or in heaven but to find a highway to the Self. And if on that highway to the Self one happens to find God or that one is an incarnation of God, please remember that we all are a part of the same Universe and that God is the Great Self Of All that is in All. God takes on many different names and forms for many different people. So, please don't be fooled. The entire Universe and everything in it is an emanation of God or if you prefer, an incarnation of God. God is not male, female or both. God Is All and everything in the Universe is composed of the star dust of that All. Therefore, we tend to imagine God in many forms. Some imagine God to be like a Mother, and the Universe to be like a baby in the Mother's womb, or imagine it to be her child. There are also those who imagine God to be the Father, a Guru, an innocent child, the Void, an unimaginable force or entity etc. Whatever it may be, everyone loves Maya because life without Maya would be meaningless. Likewise, understanding God without Maya would be impossible. Hence, it has been said that God is Maya i.e. Maya is God.

Without Darkness There Would Be No Light & Vice Verse

Generally speaking, I am a follower of a path that lays beyond the left, right or the middle paths. Between darkness and light are all the other shades of gray and all the colors of the rainbow. Darkness and light are extremes that are disconnected from the nature of things. Though, sometimes we need to experience them, prolonged existence in them can lead to many types of deviations.

We know only what we can perceive with our 5 or 6 senses. There's a lot more out there that we will not know about yet for a good reason. If our kind survives another million or more years it will naturally evolve to a higher level and develop the psycho-physical means for a broader perception of the Universe that surrounds us. We will then gain greater understanding of the Universe, become better masters of it, and the knowledge that we are the Universal Consciousness or God will be just plain old unquestionable common knowledge. So, there's a pot at the end of the rainbow. But the question that's on everyone's mind right now is "will humankind survive that long?" And it is a good question to keep in mind.

What About The Devil?

I believe that devils are comfortable scapegoats to blame for dumb and evil things people do or for misfortunate consequences that arise from accidents or natural phenomena such as tornados or illnesses. You don't have to agree with me, but I believe that belief in the devil as well as in an always benevolent god is false. God won't look after us if we won't look after ourselves. You are god, a part of god and we may be lucky sometimes... but even evil people have been lucky sometimes too. So, luck is more a product of right Karma; being in the right place at the right time. What about witch hunts in the Middle Ages, killing in the name of god etc.? Were those done by the devil or were they the consequences of ignorance? And no matter how hard anyone tries to deny it, Satanists are Christians because Satan is a Christian entity. So, concepts of devils and demons come from mythologies that are colorful and entertaining and have often been used in unscholarly conversations because they are easy ways of portraying some ideas. But they should be understood properly within the frameworks of a given system of philosophy if one is to achieve understanding.

In my nondualist worldview, good and evil are two aspects of the same one reality. And evil is a manifestation of ignorance or the inability to understand that we are not different from the Supreme. Hence, a devil or Satan could be seen as a representation of dualism or the Devi and Maya in Hinduism; one that in a way perhaps could resemble Kali, also called Kalika in Bengali. But Kali is not at all such an evil entity... Kali is a representation of the power/energy/force/shakti/vit of infinite Time or Eternity, which creates, sustains and destroys all. Hence Kali is said to devour all or more precisely speaking, to transform all into new forms of being. The Sanskrit word "kala" that the name of the goddess comes from means "time"; "kali" is the feminine form of the Sanskrit word "kala". So she is the alpha and omega of all things.

Hindu goddess Kali has a god under her foot.

Tibetan Buddhist Maha Kala has a goddess under his foot.

The Prism Of The Self

The nature of the world is such that every little cell that the Universe is composed of perceives the world that surrounds it through the prism of its own Self. Though, in essence the Great Self is not different from the individual Self, yet the individual self does not see much further beyond the vessel it is confined in. Therefore, it is very difficult for us to fully understand each other or to perceive the world that surrounds us from the perspective of someone else or something else. And that kind of ability is required if we are to solve some of our global problems. Therefore, until people in power understand this basic principle of Nature we will have misunderstandings and conflicts over differences. Differences will always exist and the elimination of differences is not the way to a happy and healthy society because the nature of the Universe is one based on multilateral diversification. As to divisions, generally speaking they will always exist because different groups have a natural need to mingle with others and also have a natural need to be amongst their own. Tensions between different groups can be greatly reduced through understanding, knowledge and acceptance of each other. The human nature and the Universe are alike. Therefore diversification and coexistence of all in the Universal and in our societies is more or less natural. The only thing that is stopping us are the outdated operating systems and incompatible software programs our minds have been running on.

A Spiritual Remedy

If you believe in magic and would like some spiritual assistance, please click here to order a special ritual (puja) or make a wish at midnight when the Moon is bright (full) and specify a reasonable time when your wish is to be fulfilled. Then, if you are honest, through the grace of God who knows our every thought and dead your wish should come true.

Faith

People often turn to religion when they are in desperate situations. That's because faith sometimes works miracles. But that same faith is also the Mother of ignorance. The basic thing to remember is that the individual Self (Atman) is a part of the Universal Self (Brahman). Thus we already are Online with God 24/7. However, most folks don't realize that without instructions and initiation from a competent Guru. So, most often people turn to spiritual brokers for help. But, the fact is that you can work your own miracles. God, the Universal Self is all knowing. So, God knows best what we need without asking.

Gurus

There are many misconceptions about Gurus and often Yoga Gurus themselves are responsible for them. To begin with, the word "Guru" is a Sanskrit term, which without going into much detail about it, simply means "Teacher". So we could say that the Teacher who taught you Math or History in school was your Math or History Guru. Yet we don't do that because the English term "Teacher" is most common in our English speaking culture. Similarly, I have had many Teachers or Gurus throughout life and so has Adi Shankara, whose line of logic I adhere to. However my Mother was my first Guru and then my closest Family. As to Adi Shankara... well, he has written many works on the way I perceive the world, developed a philosophical system and a Science that makes it possible for us to better understood each other. So, I don't have to do any of the work he has already done for us. Besides that, I speak English and avoid Sanskrit terms as much as possible because I come from a conviction that the Universal Truth cannot be limited only to a chosen few. So if it cannot be taught in my mother tong it cannot be the Universal Truth. But to begin with, there is no such thing as Truth. There are only illusions, Maya. And the awareness of that is the Truth that Liberates one from ignorance.

Believe nothing merely because you have been told it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings - that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide.

Buddha [Gautama Siddharta] (563 - 483 BC)

The World Is Like A Stage

I don't want the Reader to get the wrong idea. In reality I live almost like a Saint but am ashamed and bored of it. So sometimes I do things others shouldn't do. Therefore, please don't try to follow me or do what I do because I am not like a Guru that one would follow or a Saint. On the other hand, some sinners could be Gurus or be like Saints... So, please let your intuition guide you and not what you see, hear or read before following anyone. Life without some struggles and strife wouldn't be interesting. That's why mankind left Paradise and that's why we often try to pretend to be something more or less then what we really are. All the world's a stage... but not all of us want to properly play our roles on that stage, if you know what I mean. Sometimes it is more interesting and educational to take on a different role then the one that is easy. That's how we learn new things and different points of view from many different angles.

The Future

What may be coming in the future? Humans as well as animals are able to sense some future coming events. The most obvious characteristic is in a subconscious sensing of dangerous or frightening coming events. It is characterized in a feeling of tension and anxiety before an earthquake or a disturbing sight, for example. So, lets hope that while humans experience such feelings of tension and anxiety they won't shoot themselves in the head i.e. bring about a global, self-destructive conflict, because we are witnessing a lot of these types of signs of tension and anxiety around the world today.

So, what disturbing coming events may earthlings be sensing? Lets put it this way, if we don't get hit by a meteorite, an event that may draw nations together if noticed early enough (because as some leaders know, people unite in the face of a catastrophe) then we may be faced with a large scale global flood. Something that has happened on our planet many times before in the past. Some of the characteristic factors that may precede such floods were described in a Gilgamash story of the great flood. It was later carried over from there to the Bible. One of the characteristic things that preceded it was a problem of overpopulation, and the other was ignorance about the telltale signs coming from the environment itself. Overpopulation is the source of mass consumption, and a rising interest in homosexuality is a way Mother Nature tries to correct the problem. For that reason, a rise in homosexualism is a sign of environmental problems and should not be condemned. In the past, it was wrongly blamed for environMental catastrophes that it preceded. As population growth continues all sorts of pollution reaches all layers of our atmosphere. So, I think we should start thinking more about the coming of a great flood now. This news will not unite nations or make most people aware of environmental problems enough to change the course of things. That's because, as it was in the past it is still now that people tend to ignore things that have little value in their everyday life focused on consumption, that is needed for survival. And usually, when they're faced with the facts it's often a bit too late. Then, those who predicted such coming events are often said to have had some superhuman powers or to have come from some divine region of their imaginary world of beliefs. In reality, if one were to raise his or her own mind above one's small world and free oneself from many of preconceptions one would notice some of these global trends in development as plainly as one sees what is going on in his own neighborhood.

To sum it up. It looks like we're on some kind of collision course. Perhaps this is a way Mother Nature regulates or overcomes human overpopulation when it gets out of hand. Something like our immunity system overcoming some forms of bacteria growth. I'm afraid that now that things are spinning as they are it may be a bit late and difficult to stop them. It may take long for them to calm down. But before that happens things may get worse. And as I mentioned it earlier, I think we're on a collision course. But even I don't know what form it all may take on.

To sum up, the natural environment is out of balance because of over population and mass consumption. Political situations and economics are also falling out of control. A rise of interest in homosexuality is a way Mother Nature tries to control or reduce the population growth. The only thing she's interested in is in finding an inner balance. She will do whatever is necessary to get that balance even if it will involve the destruction of life on our Planet. She thinks only about her own well being. All we really are, are products of her elements (Star Dust), and ones that she can do with as she pleases when she pleases.

The Philosophy Of Trash

"Now" is an edge or a groove where the Past and Future join together. But Time's drag effect on the substance of the Past causes the Past to slowly ware away (ware out, ware off, fade away) and to decay. The Future is built on the Past. That is why people try to find answers to new problems in the Past. So, a search for clues to new answers for new problems takes people back to the past. Very rarely things in time are identical because the alchemy of each moment in time is different. Thus, the many connections become different. Even if only one small detail is changed the situation and results will become unpredictably different.

In the not too distant future there may also be some genetic problems that may be resolved only through time travel. And some level of such technology may be developed. But time will prove to be the only thing mankind will have not much control of. Time will always control us. Time may only yield some of its kindness and secrets to us in some way.

A time like the sixties, and especially 1969 will not come by again for a long while. That's because the seeds laid at that time have not fully blossomed yet. They require much more time to mature. That's why many people in different fields of interests and studies will be going through the trash of those days looking for inspiration and answers.

As for us, I think we need to take a break from all this overly intellectual and mind-blowing psycho-spiritual and analytic stuff once in a while to revitalized our neuron's energy i.e. we need to chill-out a bit. In my Trashy Philosophy, we come from cosmic trash, feed on it and will be recycled into another form of it. So, when we come down to the source of things in the Universe, trash will always be at the end or at the top of the list, even in physics. So, lets be honest about our "trashy" nature. And be proud of who or what we are.

Have a "groovy" day!

Bondage
by the Author

Time and the Universe are round,
and keep spinning around & around,
but we are just too square,
to see beyond the bondage,
of places, things and times,
that limit us in everyway.

What Is Life & Death?

What we call life is like a small and short spark of energy on the soil of our planet and Universe. Everything born is destined to go through the whole process of happiness, sorrow, pain, suffering etc. and departure from this dimension. That's why what we call life could also be viewed as death, because it is inevitably destined to it. What happens after death? I don't know for sure, and I don't know anybody who has returned to tell us about it. But I suppose it is a similar thing that happens after one empties the trash from MS Windows Operating System's Recycle Bin. After death we dissolve in the Supreme Operating System (Brahman) and reunite with it.

Reincarnation

We could say that the cosmic dust everything in the Universe is created/molded from is like a plastic-like substance such as clay, for example. Everything is created/molded from it, everything is energized/ fed by it and everything dissolves/ returns back to it. This recycling process is what I understand as reincarnation. Forms of being/elements that have achieved a higher state of being/ refinement will be recycled/reincarnate in more subtle/ higher forms of being/ existence. Forms of being/ elements that have achieved a lower state of being/ refinement will be recycled/reincarnate in more rudimentary/ lower forms of being/ existence. That's how I understand reincarnation. But please do not confuse that with the migration of souls. My beliefs in the migration of souls are 50/50. It's all a question of one's beliefs.

Dualists may understand the terms "higher" or "lower" to be synonyms of "better" or "worse". I do not use these terms in such way. Both higher and lower things are equally important in the makeup of the Universe. But, it is a fact that gross or more rudimentary substances reside in lower regions of our Planet. And likewise, more subtle ones in its higher regions. Hence, my use of these terms is derived from that kind of observation. Both are equally important to all existance.

In my worldviews, the psycho-material or physical dimensions are spiritual dimensions. So, it is possible to reincarnate through children or some material works one has left behind, which may cause other minds to catch the Master's spirit or mind form and to assimilate to it. In such a state the recipient of the transmitted mind-stuff that has been impregnated in some material object or form assimilates to its "wavelengths" and may experience a feeling of oneness with the owner, Master or creator i.e. with the person or place that possessed, enchanted or created the object.

Also, on the question of self-actualization. If one has children then one becomes immortal as long as one also keeps on reproducing through one's children. Self-actualization is a genetic process of psycho-physical nature that is constantly under development throughout one's life. And it will continue through the next generations of offsprings. So for example, I have no children; therefore I will not reincarnate. But my brothers have some. So, my Dad's genetic code, that I also posses will continue through them.

Why Are We Here?

We are spiritual beings that are experiencing the material world. We are a part of the Cosmic process of evolution of the material Universe symbolized by the five elements: earth, fire, water, air and ether. The whole Cosmic process could be summed up as a process of refinement of the elements to higher states of being.

The reasons why we are here are as numerous as we are numerous. All of us are equally important to the whole process that is under development; even though there may not be any apparent one. No one really knows what their mission or purpose may really be. That's why we should perform all our duties as well as possible. We should also be as honest with ourselves and with others as much as possible. A better form of more pragmatic minded social structure based on understanding of the human nature and its needs for fulfillment would be necessary to better achieve human goals. That's why a congenial environment comprised of a pragmatic and an open-minded society based on the ideas of Liberty and Freedom is recommanded. Also, a critical review of old superstitions and beliefs would be necessary to move forward.

Introverted Capricorn Nature

Many spiritual leaders and mystics such as Nostradamus, Yogananda, Ramana Maharishi, Shivananda, possibly even Adi Shankara and many others were born under the Zodiac sign of Capricorn. Come to think of it, I'm a Capricorn too (1 January). So, I have wondered about this in the past and came to a conclusion that it has a lot to do with the time of the year, which was/ is a very important element in ancient religious systems. Capricorn is in the center of Winter. And everything is connected to Mother Nature and so is our soul, mind.

Winter is a time of hibernation, a time when living organisms tend to stay more in their dwelling places. It is a time when consciousness turns inwards more. And that is a quality required for meditation and the study of the inner nature of things. So, it is just natural for some folks born under Winter Season signs of the Zodiac to be more introverted, and to have a natural talent for metaphysics, an understanding of the nature of things that are hidden from plain view - beyond the veil/ masks of myth and illusion. Technical meditation called in Sanskrit "Yoga" is a system designed to turn our attention inwards, away from the outside world. It was developed in India for use in monasteries by adopts and religious leaders. Later, meditational Yoga was exported to China by Buddhists where It was called "Chan". From there it went to Japan where they called it "Zen". There are also some folks who are born with that type of basic ability.

As a Capricorn I have had many problems with my introverted nature. The Internet is a medium that has helped me overcome some of them. But I don't like writing and reading because they make me even more introverted. The problem in our world today is that everyone has to make a living. And to make a good living one has to be more aggressive and extraverted. So, too much introversion and meditation is not exactly a thing I would recommend to everyone; unless if one lives in a monastery and has a community or some wealthy institution supporting him or her. In my case, I was born that way and have been trying to overcome my introverted nature all through life. Guess that's a problem many folks who come from cold climate regions of our planet have. Other folks who come from warmer regions of our planet often tend to have a problem in controlling their more extraverted nature. For example, the mixture of these two types of races gave the American culture such a dynamic quality. So, if it sometimes seems like we are on different wavelengths it may be because we are heading in different directions. I usually need to learn to be more extraverted and African-like; while others are trying to learn to be more introverted and European-like. That's probably also why technical meditation was developed later in India. Because the authors of the Veda called "Rishi" did not practice it earlier, probably because they did not need to. The Rishi came from Europe in the time of the
Ice Age as we learned from the Sama Veda*, for example.

The Goddess in Europe

The Mother Cult also called The Goddess Cult is the oldest form of religion that dates back to undated times of the so called Golden Age (Satya Yuga). It was a globally recognized cult even among American Indians that brought it, its symbols, shamanic practices, rituals and philosophical foundations all the way from Siberia to America. Catholicism had a difficulty overcoming the Mother Cult, so in the 6th Century the Pope called a congress in Fez at the site of the Persephone Temple (there is also a famous pilgrimage route in Athens dedicated to that goddess and a mountain where she was worshipped) and accepted the Mother cult as a part of Christian doctrine as the Mother of Jesus. After that, it became easier to convert more Pagans to Christianity.

The
Winter Solstice was celebrated amongst all Indo-Europeans thousands of yours before Christianity tried to change that. Today, hardly anyone knows of some ancient sacred grounds in Central Europe, for example. The only ones most people known about are in Great Britain such as Stonehenge. But for thousands of years many Indo-European tribes celebrated the four great astrological events such as the Winter Solstice on sacred mountains such as the one in Sleza, Poland (Sobotka) near Wraclaw or on Croagh Patrick in Ireland. Poland is 98% orthodox Catholic today. So, many Poles do not know much about this ancient sacred mountain. There still are three stone rings there and ancient granite statues marked or signed with an X sign that may symbolize the union of the male and female energy. There is also evidence that three goddesses were worshipped there and one supreme goddess that the other goddesses probably served. There are also other sacred mountain cult sites that were constructed later in other parts of Poland and Europe. A Polish Count* who was well versed in the Vedas and Sanskrit wrote a manuscript that I have a copy of, in which he claims to believe that this was the place where Krishna and Radha could have lived. The Arians, who lived between the Polish Tatra (Tatra in Sanskrit means "to then") mountains and Siberia migrated to Persia (Iran i.e. Arian) and to India probably at the time of the Glacier era. They brought with them the Veda and their sciences to India. Other Arians moved West to parts of Western Europe as far as Ireland, Arian Land. The so called Pagan's religion was very similar if not the same as was Vedism that Hinduism is based on. There was the Mother cult, fire rituals, ritual feasts, Tantric practices and also ritual orgies (also in Poland ex. at Sleza, Sobotka or Lysa Góra), celebration of the forces of nature etc. (I wrote a few magazine articles on the subject in Polish and held a number of lectures in Poland since 1991 to stimulating some interest in the subject and in the Veda.)

18 C. drawing of Sleza in Sobotka, Poland

Ancient temples dedicated to the Goddess were often built on swamps such as the ones around Sobotka. That could have been so because water is a good electro-magnetic conductor. The temple of Arthemeda in Fez (also known as Diana or Maya in Rome; Athena or Persephone in Greece) was also built on a swamp. The Catholic Church tried hard to abolish the ancient Goddess cult and was unable to do so. So, in the 6th Century the Pope called a meeting in Fez to initiate the cult of the Mother Of God in the Church. Since then, that cult replaced the old Pagan one for many Pagans, who converted to Christianity. The Goddess was also known by our ancient ancestors by thousands of different names. The recitation of litanies of her many names was practiced in the goddess cult since oldest recorded times ex. in the Egiptian cult of Isis. And litanies are still recited in the Roman Catholic Church. There are also some in the Book Of Psalms, the oldest books of the Bible.

The Count is a Polish writer who lived in exile in France and wrote in Polish. The manuscript was hand written in Polish and is in possession of a Polish Professor of Sanskrit and Indology. I have probably the only Xerox copy of it that I know of. Naturally, the Count was interested in his homeland and the manuscript took up the subject of local names of towns, rivers, mountains etc. that could be translated into Sanskrit (Sanskrit came from an older Arian language) that were named by early Europeans (Arians) who resided in this land during the so called Balto-Slavic era (aprox. 2,500 years. BC) and earlier (+-5,000 yrs. BC). There is no problem in getting info on the Veda and Arians in India. If you would like a book that covers the subject of the history of India, Arian migrations to India from their homeland (formally between today's Tatra Mountains and Syberia) and the Veda I would recommend reading "India" by Arthur Basham available in most libraries.

How Wisdom Is Forged

There is always something new to discover. One could begin by discovering oneself. When one has found the Self, one may become blessed with the grace of some level of paranormal abilities and insight - understanding of the nature of things. Then if one is also of pure heart, other secrets (such as those of the purpose of the Sphinx, Stonehenge, Veda, Ancient Temples, Shri Chakra etc.) may disclose their true nature, their true purpose and their great antiquity. Finally, when one has found what one sought one will become a sage. That's how wisdom was forged in the sacred fires of the ancient Magi.

|The ageless ideas that the suncross and the four directions of the world symbolize have always been an important part of my teaching system. But one should always remember that those are just dogmas that one has to raise above for higher understanding because they are only tools for the realization.

Discrimination

The world is the way majority of the populations have willed it to be. In that process many minorities have been left out to some degree and are demanding to be recognized. On the other hand, there are also those societies that have opened doors on minorities and are now reaping sad consequences of that. So, there must be some middle ground all could agree.

In my opinion, major world religions are at the core of the problem. Therefore, they should play a lesser role in the shaping of the modern world. The world has progressed dynamically but they haven't. In fact, in many cases many of them would like to holt progress and even take us all back to the dark ages. Their works are often outdated, not capable of being updated and are set too much in stone i.e. are too rigid (for example, the Catholic Church officially recognized that the Earth spins around the Sun just about two decades ago). That makes it all the more difficult to deal with in a rapidly moving forward modern world. The problems people faced in ancient times, the level of understanding of the surrounding Universe and of the place of our planet in it were backwards and very different from how we understand them today through developments in the Sciences.

Unlimited Universe

I believe that the Universe is limited. We and everything else that surrounds us are made in the image of the Universe. Therefore, if we and other things have flaws and limitations then that would mean that the Universe or God has them too. However, I sometimes use the word "unlimited" when I have in mind something so large, so vast or beyond the comprehension of the mind, which borders are beyond the grasp of our senses i.e. seemingly "unlimited" to the mind. Any form of evolution and change is processes that involves a beginning and an end. What we call the Universe is of a spherical shape. In other words, it is a limited structure with a more or less defined shape and with boarders. What lies beyond that? Who knows?

Light At The End Of The Tunel

When one looses sight at the end of the tunnel then one looses hope. There always should be a light at the end of the tunnel. I believe the Universe comes from Maya, is sustained by Maya and dissolves in Maya. One has to have Maya. Without It nothing would have sense. That's why there are so many different types and forms of Maya. Most religions offer "light" or some other thing to their followers because it is that what their followers expect. Call me what you will, I don't care because I believe that I speak the truth. There are many different kinds of people, and many different kinds of things have been created by many different kinds of people to fill the needs of many different kinds of people (was I repeating myself here?). Do you follow me? Well, if you aren't then I wouldn't be surprised. Okay, now let me get back to the point I'm trying to make. Not everybody wants to chart new routs in knowledge of man's relation to the Universe or God, and vice verse. Most folks need a fast service type of religion or solution to fill the bill. One that would answer their questions, one that would conduct rights when their time comes etc. All that often out of fear that their divinity would be unceremoniously trampled over in life and beyond it. I have observed that if there was no religion people still would follow an unwritten code of ethics that lays somewhere deep in our nature and know what is right and what is wrong. Formalized religions were created to control tribes. As politics, tribal leaders and borders changed religions remained the bonding substance for the tribes. I'll dare to also compare this phenomena to hippies. Hippies may disagree on many issues but the basic ideas and likes or dislikes, which bind them together remain the same. Once something is put in writing then it becomes rigid like cement and stops breathing and growing as people grow and develop. Then those outdated things often become like chains that not only bind people but also stop them from developing. Hippies intuitively know that and that's why many of them are not too willing to have something set in stone, not even religion. They are not willing to give up freedom. My advice is to be more pragmatic minded towards those who are pragmatic and intolerant towards those who spread hatred and intolerance.

Power Of The (Written) Word

I've always been interested in the sources of things because once we understand the source of things then it becomes easier to understand how things work in the world. Indo-European religions came from ancient so called "shaman" (the term suggests the Caucus region). African religions and those that were found in India prior to the Arian migration to the Indian Subcontinent were not as advanced as those known among the Indo-Europeans. Ancient man, especially from the Caucus region, which became their homeland after the last Ice Age studied Nature - God and tried to understand its mechanics. So they studied the rhythm of Nature and its many different aspects such as the weather. As they were just at the beginning of the learning process all those things were a kind of mystery to them. The thing that was obvious was that we are a part of the surrounding Universe, which they noticed was constantly moving at a certain rhythm, and that the world seemed to be full of energy. As they studied the heavens they noticed that different constellations of stars and planets (amazing they discovered so much without telescopes and so accurately) coincided with different occurrences on our planet such as the different times of the year and the cyclical characteristics of the Seasons. The Indo-Europeans knew that the Earth revolves around the Sun. Hence, the Sun symbolized God to many of them. Christianity replaced so called Paganism and had to reject the fact that the world revolved around that ancient Pagan symbol. They were determined to abolish the old truths and build a new order with their new truths. And unlike Judaism or Christianity and other religions that followed from the Middle East, the Indo-Europeans were more sensible and scientific in religion. However, major problems with religions arose when new territories were taken over by for example the Hittites, Slavs, Greeks, Romans etc. So different solutions had to be used to incorporate the local deities of the newly takenover territories. In those days, religions (predecessors of sciences) developed through thousands of years among small tribes. Those tribes had their own concepts as to the workings of the universe. So they had their own personifications of those aspects of the Universe that were of interest to them. Therefore, different ways of dealing with the problem of incorporating all those deities had to be developed. Indo-Europeans, whom I often refer to as "Arians" usually incorporated those different deities into their own pantheon of gods and rituals and did not force their subjects to reject them. This was a sign of a highly developed, pragmatic and tolerant culture.

Christianity was a modern solution that did away with all of those deities and also brought to the world a universal written language (Latin) and a single book to focus on (The Bible). That made it possible for different countries, which spoke different languages to communicate better through Latin and to unite under the blessing of the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church. One of the other main reasons why Poland became such a land of the free in the Middle Ages was that the Poles had a liking for learning. Because of that almost everyone in Poland spoke Latin as a second language, even physical labor in the mines and farmers spoke Latin too. It was a very tolerant country then in which many Jews found refuge in times when they were persecuted in other parts of Europe. Latin has been replaced by English in the world today. It was a close battle for a time between English and German, which was the language of Science before WW2. Finally, at the end of the 20th Century the European Union decided to make English their official international language.

The ancient world had to face similar problems as those we are facing today. Vedism is in fact the oldest preserved in writing religion with many long and complete volumes of works dating back thousands of years written in Sanskrit. Yet those works are hardly known by the rest of the world, just like India's other architectural and archeological gems. Why that so? Probably because the Greeks, Romans and Catholics omitted them in their works. Because they knew the power of the written word. What the written work and especially Latin has done was to shape the world as we know it today. What we know through those works about the ancient world is what they wanted us to know and only that. Everyone who did not belong to the Roman Empire or did not become Christianized were called Barbarians, including the Vandals who were Aryan Christians. The difference between those Barbarians and the real ones in Rome was that the later had a written language, which was like a form of higher technology that they cleverly used to secure a prime place for themselves in the written (by themselves) history of the world. Such is the power of the Word. Such is also the power of all other forms of media used today.

The Word
by the Author

The word is like silver,
And silence is golden.
The word is like the Moon,
And silence is like the Sun.

The Moon reflects light,
And Sun is the source of light.
The mind is like the Moon,
And the Self is like the Sun.

The Moon is like a silver screen
For a small fraction of Sunlight.
The Sun is in the Heart of our galaxy
That spins around its golden shield.

We Are Sexual Beings By Nature

Sigmund Freud is the father of modern psychology. By modern social standards and especially early 20th Century ones, Freud had some serious mental problems himself. For example, one of them was incest with his own sister. That's probably why he started his analysis with understanding of human sexuality. And as a result developed the psychoanalytic school of psychology. It seems to me that his interests most probably focused on resolving some of his own problems. That's probably also why psychologists assume that many psychological problems stem from some problems of sexual nature. And I think there is a lot of truth to that because we are sexual beings by nature. Therefore, a happy sexual relationship without religious or social nature guilt feelings often translates into a happier attitude towards others and a happier life as a whole. I'd like to be clearer on this. What I am saying is that religious and social "does and don'ts" make many people's lives difficult and even miserable. And that also has a great impact on the general condition of the world because what vibrates in us will reverberate on our surroundings.

The Way

There are three paths that could lead to the Highway of Enlightenment. One Path is called the Right Path, another is called the Left Path, and another is called the Middle Path. All those Paths could lead to the Highway of Enlightenment if chosen wisely and trotted carefully. When the Highway is reached it could lead to the Freeway, also known as the Superhighway. The Freeway cannot be reached from any of the Three Paths because those paths lead only to the Highway. Therefore, the Highway should be reached first through the Paths. And then, with the grace of time and the right Karma that Highway of Enlightenment may transform itself for the Magi into the Freeway i.e. the Superhighway of Liberation. So, the Magi's salvation is in Liberation from Bondage that follows after Enlightenment has been achieved. Enlightenment is the attainment of right knowledge and wisdom. But what comes after that has been achieved? After that follows a natural process of descent from the mountain top. That descent is like a form of degeneration, like a trip back down from a mountain top to the Magi's home. And thus it is that in the midst of beauty there is decay, and in decay there often is beauty. The one couldn't be without the other.

Changes

Is it possible to bring about change and make everyone happy? In my opinion it is very difficult to do. Why? Because it would be very difficult to satisfy liberals and conservative at the same time. Liberals are usually the ones that expect noticeable changes and conservatives are usually those that expect only some small changes. Therefore unless it is some kind of an exceptional case, the con-servatives usually are the most disenchanted ones when noticible changes are made.

Why The Supreme Entity Needs Faith?

The Supreme Entity needs faith in Itself and It's efforts because without it It would have lost Its self-identity (ego) and have little motivation to act. And what about our faith in the Supreme Entity? The answer is simple. Our faith gives the Supreme Entity faith, which in return gives us more faith in ourselves and in our efforts. So, when we loose faith in the Supreme we loose faith in ourselves. Therefore it is likely that a depression or something even worse could follow. That is why faith is so important to have in the so called three worlds of earth, heaven and especially in the midregion.

Also, like many who find it difficult to work under pressure, the Supreme Being sometimes also finds it difficult to work under pressure. So please don't expect too much from the Supreme and It won't expect too much from you. But also remember that without your regular support it would be difficult to carry the word just like it would be difficult for a horse to pull a carriage or for someone to drive a car without fuel.
