About Prophecies
Moonday, September 26,
2005
Good prophets are intelligent people who understand some
of the basic mechanics of the world, have a good sense of
intuition and a gift of observation for developing events.
The present was forged yesterday and the future is being
forged today. If you do good today it will be more likely
that you will have a good karma in the future.
Some prophets sometimes can tell us about what the
general future world trends may be. But those same
prophets often fail to foresee the big events that shake
the world and change the course of the future. For
example, how many have predicted 9/11 or the New Orleans
floods in just the last decade. And if they did would
anyone take them seriously anyway? And if they were taken
seriously what would happen to them if they proved to be
wrong? There is always the transcendental factor of maya
at play in all that can be perceived; even threw the
keenest sense of ESP. Therefore, I think it's unwise to
put too much trust in everything you read or hear from
such sources.
On this website's About Page here you can read the prophetic
verse Jack Kerouak wrote in "On The Road" in
1955 about coming down the Brooklyn Bridge dressed like a
band of Arabs to blowup NY. Well, he certainly knew what
was cooking or maybe he was one of the greatest prophets
of our time. Whatever the case may be my advice is not to
trust in anything, prophets or religions. If you're
interested in philosophy or prophecy study it and develop
the skills yourself. Everyone has the potential. Like
everything else it also needs to be discovered and
developed. I used to hold classes on developing prophetic
and fortune telling skills in Central Europe and know
something or other about it. I realize that some may
disagree, but I believe that Jesus (If he wasn't just a
literary hero) left his home when he was 13 to take
lessons from some Persian teacher(s). In the ancient
world it wasn't uncommon for boys that age to join
schools. All ancient schools were run by clerics. You'll
still find this practice in some parts of the East ex.
India.

The
Business Model "Your Misfortune Is My Gain"
Wednesday, September 22,
2005
I used to dream of owning a beach house. And many others
did too. So prices of beachfront real estate soared. Now
after Katrina I realize that it was just another
pipedream. I am all for democracy and a free market
society. But believe that business should follow some
code of ethics in times of crises. Guess I was taught
that at home in our family business. I'll never forget an
insurance representative telling New Orleans flood
victims on TV that if they didn't have additional flood
coverage (which most of them didn't even know about)
their insurance would not cover their damages. As the
prices of oil soar way beyond the psychological $50 a
barrel to a never before imagined $60 a barrel and rising
oil companies and their executives are not intent on
giving up profits or sacrificing some of their salaries.
They're all concerned about profits and looking forward
to make as much out of it all as possible. There should
be a point where humanity overcomes greed. Business seems
to be following the business model "your misfortune
is my gain" as they usually do. But perhaps I'm just
too insensible and don't trust in God. But look for Him/Her
in people's actions, minds and hearts.

Attacks
In London
Friday, July 08, 2005
I want to express my grief about the July 7, 2005 attacks
in London. Also to say that if not for Bush's war there
wouldn't be such an outburst of terror in the world.
Still, those responsible for them are not suffering as
much as the people of a country that had nothing to do
with them. What about those lists of sensitive words and
the monitoring cameras in the cities? Obviously, they
failed. The war has not made us safer at all. If a leader
makes such a mistake he should be held responsible.
Clinton made an incomparably lesser mistake and do you
remember what they did to him? His mistake was nothing
compared to one that has caused the loss of so many
innocent lives.

Social
Acceptance
Monday, July 04, 2005
I am not ashamed to admit that I was born a male
chauvinist and can't help it. It's genetic. But please
relax, beasts like me are in the minority. Besides that,
I'm very old fashioned. I like women who don't want to
prove that they can be just as good as man. Unless if
they're butch dikes; then its O.K. because that's their
God-given nature. And I don't like guys who want to prove
that they're just as good as women. Unless if that's
their God-given nature, of course. One should find him or
her self, accept him or her self as he or she is and be
him or her self, I believe. But to do that is difficult
without social acceptance. And there's still plenty to be
done in that area.

A Trip
To Amsterdam (continued)
Monday, July 04, 2005
I'm not going to Amsterdam just for fun but also to
collect some material for my presentation about the 60s
hippy movement as I know it for one of the Polish Capitol's
museums that I have lectured for on other subjects in the
past. I am not getting paid for any of this either. There
was a time when America was like Amsterdam for many
peoples of the world. Too bad that has changed in just a
few years. It doesn't take much to loose what many
generations have worked so hard for. If not for the dams
Amsterdam wouldn't be here. It would be underwater
because it is 5 meters below sea level. And if not for
the Constitution and liberals such as Thomas Jefferson or
the hippies America would be just another bushland. In
spite of all the dark clouds, I do believe in the
democratic system, in the goodness of men who made it and
the foresight they also had to guard it through the
Constitution against man who would like to take it away.
Happy
4th Of July everyone!

A Trip
To Amsterdam
Saturdayday, July 02, 2005
I am now in Europe and planning a trip to Amsterdam in
the Netherlands. A trip to Amsterdam could be pretty
expensive from America but it's not as expensive from anywhere
in Europe. It's like hoping from state to state here.
The bummer are accommodations because I haven't booked
any yet. I've been dreaming of going back to Holland and
of moving there. Unfortunately, prices in Europe are
steep. Warsaw, Poland, the city I am living in now isn't
cheep either. In fact, it is the 27th most expensive
city in the world and sharply climbing according to this
year's MERCER Human Resources statistics. Last year it
was the 78th most expensive city in the world. Amsterdam
is in the 24th on the list, London the 3d most
expensive and New York the 13th. Instead of going to
Amsterdam you guys in America can always hop over to
New Orleans or Frisco for a break. But, this is not a
good time to travel to Europe because the buck buys a lot
less here then ever before.

Words
Wednesday, June 20, 2005
Every form of expression
is limited and cannot express that which is unlimited.
But without that limited form of expression we would know
nothing and be nothing. The spoken or written word has a
life of its own and takes on as many different forms as
there are readers or listeners of it. That is the magical/illusionary
power of the word. That is also a reason not to take
every word too seriously.

Grumpy
Hippies
Wednesday, June 18, 2005
If someone complains
about his or her town or country it is probably because
he or she loves it and wants to improve it somehow for
some reason. Hippies are reformers. They have brought
about many changes in the world through criticism and
protest. Most hippies don't sit on a fence, hide their
heads in sand or walk about with their heads in the
clouds pretending that everything's fine and dandy [at
least not when they're not high].

Some
Words On Self-Knowledge
Wednesday, June 18, 2005
"Men and women do
not consent to be summed up in my categories. Even things
do not. They present themselves too immediately, too
uniquely to get summed up in terms convenient to my convenient self." [p. 283]
"Man and his word constitute one fourth of the
reality of man. To know himself man must know the word,
must submit to its mystery and its power. It is only when
he self-submits to the word that word will benignly
reveal its reality and his reality. Alternately, he may
discard the word and be himself, himself unmeasured by
language. When he comes to this nothing, this nothing
will reveal itself as his reality and the reality of the
word and the world." [p. 287]

Man" Vol. 2 by Som Raj Gupta]

About
John F. Kennedy's Assassination
Wednesday, May 31, 2005
JFK had scandals
brewing. Had an affair with Marilyn Monroe and with other
women perhaps. His personal doctor was known later in
Beverly Hills as "Doctor Feel Good". JFK was
hooked on steroids (hormone drugs)and speed (amphetamine)
and was overdosing on them. Because of that he had a
ferocious sex drive and was feeling like as if he was on
a cloud. He refused to give up those substances when
warned about them and would have surely died of an OD
during his second term of office if reelected. Now, the
question is who would have had interest in saving the
national honor, the power and the means to arrange his
assassination and to keep covering it up for many decades?

Dreams
Thursday, May 26, 2005
Everything
begins with dreams. And everything that one can think of/dream
of can be attained/materialized. So, keep dreaming and
keep evolving to higher states of consciousness/being.
The problem is that there are all kinds of dreamers and
dreams of higher and lower nature. What may be good for
some may be bad for others. The current world situation
is a good example of that. So, it is important to try not
to hurt others on our way to happiness. Simple to say but
quite difficult to do. But if we keep that in mind on our
way to the realization of our dreams/happiness the world
would be a better place. PEACE!
